Annual Board Retreat: January 7 & 8, 2009
The 2009 Board Retreat set out to accomplish the following objectives:
- To provide the Board with a context for future decisions regarding the allocation of its financial assets.
- To provide the Board with an overview of asset allocation methodologies and approaches for the Board to consider.
- To provide the Board with an "education" with regard to the risk/reward aspects as well as the pros and cons of several relatively new investment vehicles with which the Board has little or no experience, but which might be considered as part of a new asset allocation strategy.
