January 2010 Medicare Reimbursement Delay

Retired Members Only

Due to a computer programming error, approximately 5,800 members did not receive their Medicare reimbursement of $96.40 on the January 31st pension roll.  To mitigate the financial impact to our members, we have made arrangements for a separate direct deposit to be made no later than Wednesday, February 3, 2010.  Members who receive hard checks will have their Medicare Part B reimbursement check mailed no later than February 3, 2010.
