HOW TO: Access BPP Web Passport

Immediate and Secure Access to Your LAFPP Benefit Payment Information – For Retired Members and Other Payees Only
As an LAFPP retiree or other payee, you now have online access to your benefit payment information. The , administered by Northern Trust, is a secure portlet that provides immediate access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
With Access You Can…
View real time account information and historical information, including historical tax statements*
Obtain on-the-spot payment status (paid vs. outstanding)
Review payment history and images of prior negotiated checks*
Submit a request to reissue a payment
Update address, tax withholding and direct deposit information
*Note: The system will provide a history dating back to October 2010.
With BPP Web Passport, paper forms are no longer necessary. Rather, tasks can now be completed electronically with instant confirmation and peace-of-mind.

Enrollment is easy and secure. Be sure to have your most recent pension statement or advice available and follow these steps:
Go to the BPP Web Passport login page (www.ntrs.com/bppweb).
Click the link to register on the bottom right-hand side of the screen.
When prompted, enter the requested information as it appears on your statement or advice.
After the information you entered has been accepted, you will be asked to create a User ID and Password:
User ID – Must be 6-8 letters and/or numbers long.  No special characters or spaces are allowed. Example: Daffy10
Password – Must be 6-16 characters long, (any combination of letters, numbers and/or symbols).  Your password is case-sensitive and must include at least one lower-case letter.
Example: 2BeOrNot2B!

Important Notes
BPP Web Passport is best viewed using the Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox internet browser.  Other internet browsers may provide limited functionality.
Once you have registered to use BPP Web Passport, you will be prompted to answer eight security questions on your second login session.  These questions will be used to verify your identity in the event you forget your password.
If your address is outside of the United States or Canada, you will not be able to enroll in BPP Web Passport.
