Tom Lopez has worked at the Los Angeles Fire and Police Pension System for over 38 years. He has been the Chief Investment Officer of the system since 1993.

The Investment Section handles everything that has to do with the Plan’s investments. It is the investment returns, along with time, that funds most of the Plan’s liabilities.
