Los Angeles Fire and Police Pensions is dedicated to administering the defined benefit retirement plan for all sworn (Fire, Police and certain Port Police and Airport Police) employees of the City of Los Angeles, since 1899.
In addition to our core role of administering the defined pension plan, our services include pre-retirement & retirement counseling and medical & dental plan administration assistance.
LAFPP has been serving eligible members and their beneficiaries since June 7, 1899. We continue our efforts to provide professional and prompt service to approximately 13,000 active members and 13,000 retirees and beneficiaries.
