The Board of Fire and Police Pension Commissioners administers the LAFPP System in accordance with the City Charter, the City Administrative Code and the State Constitution.

The Board consists of nine commissioners – five appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council, and four elected by members.

Meetings

The meetings of the Board of Fire and Police Pension Commissioners will continue as scheduled. However, please read the “Important Message to the Public” at the beginning of each respective Agenda for current COVID-19 Meeting attendance restrictions and requirements. If you are unable to abide by the requirements as reflected on each agenda, we highly encourage you to participate virtually.

Regular Board meetings are on the first and third Thursdays of the month at 8:30 a.m.
